The number of people planning on traveling this Memorial Day weekend is expected to be the lowest in decades. If you're protecting your health and staying home, that doesn't mean you can't still pay tribute to the military service members who made the ultimate sacrifice.

You can join the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund for a virtual celebration by taking a virtual tour of the memorial or submitting an online message about who you are remembering on Memorial Day. The website is vvmf.org/alwaysremember/

Also, Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise will co-host the National Memorial Day Concert. Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the live concert of the West Lawn of the Capitol will not be held this year. The concert will pay tribute to the men and women who are doing so much for all of us in the current fight against COVID-19 and continue the 31 year tradition of honoring and remembering our troops, veterans, wounded warriors, all those who have given their lives for freedom and their families. The National Memorial Day Concert will be broadcast on PBS, this Sunday evening before Memorial Day at 8pm.
