The first time I heard this song, I had to break out the tissues. It made me think of a simpler time in my life when I had a more innocent child-like faith in God. Then I thought of my children and how we used to sing the lines in "Jesus Loves Me" together. I was swept back in time and could picture their sweet little faces and how they sang that song with such gusto - never doubting for a moment how deeply they were loved and treasured by Jesus. I often overcomplicate things like religion and faith. Sometimes it's good to back to the basics. I hope reaffirms and simplifies things for you too.
