Relay For Life
Description:
Relay For Life of Baltimore and Howard County invites the public to our free event on Saturday, June 3, 3:00 – 9:00 p.m., at Howard Community College’s Track and Field in Columbia. Enjoy free parking in a garage by taking the 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway entrance.
We are particularly interested in cancer survivors. Survivors should RSVP at
www.RelayforLife.org/BaltimoreHowardMD so we can honor you at the Survivors Reception at our event.
Relay For Life Relay is a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Its mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
Teams work throughout the year to raise money.
Cancer survivors and caregivers are honored at Relays while team members take turns walking or running around a track or path.
This year’s theme is “Carnival for a Cause.” Among the activities are Zumba, a children’s book signing, and a luminaria ceremony.
If interesting in forming a team or to get more information, visit www.RelayforLife.org/BaltimoreHowardMD.
Every year, more than 5,000 Relay For Life events are held in more than 20 countries.
