Project Belong VA is hosting Pastors & Faith Leaders across Northern Virginia to learn more about the role of the church in caring for vulnerable children in foster care or needing adoption. Did you know that Virginia is among the WORST states in the country for children who "age out" of the foster care system? That means children in foster care, once they hit a certain age, have no where to call home and no family support. And the things that bring children into foster care often have nothing to do with them. We believe that every child deserves a family. To that end, we want to help churches navigate the sometimes complicated journey of becoming more engaged in the lives of these vulnerable ones. Not everyone will be called to foster or adopt, but everyone CAN make a difference. What's YOUR church's next step? Project Belong VA will help you walk the journey.share

Don't miss an Evening of Worship with Chris Tomlin and special guest Pat Barrett! Friday, October 18th at 7:30pm at Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge.
As one of the most successful and influential Christian performing artists today, Chris Tomlin’s remarkable year of touring will continue in 2019 as he announces his fall tour, “An Evening of Worship with Chris Tomlin.” Singer/songwriter Pat Barrett, who became the first artist signed to Chris’ imprint record label Bowyer & Bow last year and recently celebrated his first #1 on the Christian Airplay Chart with “Build My Life,” is the special guest.
"Worship is so much more than just a concert and this tour is focused on bringing people back to what it is all about, the heart of worship,” shared Chris. “My hope and prayer for these intimate nights is really that people encounter the living God, and leave changed after their experience.”
When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray and have the same abundant, powerful and intimate relationship they saw him have with the Father here on earth, Jesus taught them a simple prayer: Our father who art in heaven Hallowed be your name Your kingdom come Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven ... This prayer mirrors our desire to live lives that reflect this kingdom reality everyday. As worshippers, not just in song, but in life, we are to be a reflection of God’s kingdom, come. We invite you to join us at the 2019 Worship Conference featuring award-winning artist, Travis Greene. Get ready for a weekend of powerful worship, dynamic speakers, interactive sessions and opportunities to connect with others in the worship community. The conference culminates with Travis Greene in concert (separate concert ticket required). Early bird registration: $50 until Sept. 30; $65 thereafter. Concert ticket: $45share
