The WGTS 1-Minute Devotional is a short positive thought from the artists we play to help keep your eyes and mind focused on God and His promises.

1-Minute Devotional: Umbrella

Have you ever been caught in a really bad storm without an umbrella or rain jacket?

Just like a huge downpour, sometimes life hits us hard. But this week, I share how you can be prepared so you'll be protected when those storms arise.

1-Minute Devotional: Salt

If you're like me, you like lots of flavor and spice in your food! I blame my Indian-American heritage.

But Jesus talks about adding flavor to your faith so that others may praise God. So spice it up!

1-Minute Devotional: Jack-in-the-box

Did you ever play with a Jack-in-the-box as a child? I remember winding it up and every time, surprising me when it would pop out. Anger works much the same way. Often, we allow ourselves to get so wound up that we eventually burst out at others - maybe catching them off-guard. This week, I want you to focus on ways you can be slow to anger.

1-Minute Devotional: Identity

Colton Dixon is a former American Idol finalist, and he knows what "Hollywood" can be like. But this week, he wants to remind you that it doesn't matter what the world thinks about you. Each of us is "fearfully, and wonderfully made." You have an identity in Christ.

1-Minute Devotional: Emmy Award

If you're like me and you've watched an awards show, maybe you've wondered what it would be like to win an Emmy or an Oscar, or even a Grammy Award. But I have to remind myself, no matter how much recognition I get here, there's an even better reward waiting. I share what that is in this week's 1-Minute Devotional.

1-Minute Devotional: V8 vs. Vegetables

I try to be healthy and eat vegetables on a regular basis, but occasionally when I don't have time to cut them up, I'll cheat.

This week, I want you to think about ways that we present ourselves to others in the way we live and speak. Do they bring honor and glory to God?

1-Minute Devotional: Alarm Clock

Most of us use alarm clocks to wake us up in the morning. I need one just to keep me awake sometimes by the end of the day!

I'm reminded of what it says in 1 Peter about staying alert, and not to let our guard down, because that's when the enemy, the devil, will strike.

So this week, let's not get too comfortable, and be ready for anything.

1-Minute Devotional: Amazon Prime

Seeing one of these boxes sitting at my doorstep gets me really excited. And it's really shifted the way we think about how quickly we can get things.

But there are some things worth waiting for. I was reminded recently of what it says in James 5:8 about being patient as we wait for the Lord's return. This week, remember to wait on the Lord, because His timing is perfect.

1-Minute Devotional: Alive in Christ

No matter what kind of day you're having, or what somebody else says about you, if you're alive in Christ, you have hope in this moment.

Kristian Stanfill, Melodie Malone, and Brett Younker from Passion share this special 1-Minute Devotional this week to remind you of the amazing future that is waiting for you.

1-Minute Devotional: Rock

The Bible talks a lot about rocks. They're strong, they can't easily be broken, and provide a solid foundation.

This week, I want to encourage you that if you ever need a reminder that God is on your side, to look at a rock!
