Health Minute: Recognizing Heart Failure

There are over 6.2 million Americans living with heart failure right now – it’s a lot more common than we might think. Something that is different now than before, is that when these patients go to get treated, they are sicker than they have been in previous years. We are joined by Amy Hernandez, Nurse Practitioner and Director of the Heart Failure Clinic at the Center for Fitness and Health at Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center.
