The cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin have reached peak bloom.  The National Park Service says they made it to the final stage yesterday after reaching stage-five just one day before.  People are being encouraged to stay away from the Tidal Basin to help slow the spread of COVID-19.  N-P-S officials originally predicted peak bloom to begin on Friday.  You can view the beautiful scenery from the comfort of your own home at www.nps.gov/cherry.
