There is going to be a  free food giveaway for 100 Fairfax County working families on Monday March 23 ( Appointment Only). This is from the Salvation Army Fairfax Corps and Major Donald Wilson, Corps Officer. This will take place at 4915 Ox RoadFairfax, VA. Interested families MUST call 703-385-8700 on March 20, 2020 to make a grocery pick-up appointment. When families arrive at The Salvation Army, a staff member will walk the box to their vehicle. Each food box is worth about $100 and contains enough food to feed a family of 4 for a week. The Salvation Army provides food relief every day across the nation's capital. Last year, we provided 114,000 nutritious meals to feed children, adults, and the homeless. We filled 2,000 grocery orders to combat hunger in the community. The Salvation Army meets human needs without discrimination during times of crisis and all year.
