Like many things, this event was a regular event before the pandemic.  It’s been three years since the National Symphony Orchestra put on their end of summer event.  Their free concert returns this Sunday at 8:00 p.m. on the U.S. Capitol’s West Lawn.  The orchestra will do everything from patriotic tunes to pop to movie turns.  If 8:00 is too late of a start for you, you can even come to the dress rehearsal at 3:30 p.m.  You can bring your own picnic and lawn chairs.   Because it is on the grounds of the Capitol you will have to go through security screening.   Get all the details on the concert here.
