Jerry....All this summer the Library of Congress has been presenting their "4th Annual Summer Movies on the Lawn". And by the lawn, we're talking about the library's lawn right across the street from the Capitol.
- Aug. 5: “Jurassic Park” (2018 National Film Registry)
- Aug. 12: “The Princess Bride” (2016 National Film Registry, rescheduled from July 8)
The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in D.C. reopens today! You don't need a timed entry pass. You can just show up and get in. Keep in mind they are still doing construction on it for the next few years, so not every exhibit will be open. Get full details by clicking here.
Spencer.... My pick is the Smithsonian National Zoological Park or as I call it the zoo. When I was a kid I LOVED to go down to the zoo. I have so many wonderful memories and your kids will as well. You can see elephants, giraffes and my favorite the monkeys!!! The Zoo is open daily 8am-4pm. You must wear masks. For more information on the Zoo just click here!!! Let me know if you go!!!
