It’s one of the longest running celebrations in DC, it’s the Lunar New Year Parade. It’s happening this Sunday in Chinatown from 1:00-4:00 p.m. It starts at the corner of Sixth at I Streets at 2:00 p.m. There are firecrackers are the end of the route. You’ll see giant lions and dragons, marching bands, martials, police and fire groups, and many others. You can find on the details at this link for the Lunar New Year Parade. The, National Gallery of Art hosts a performance by Washington Samulnori, a group of traditional Korean percussionists. (1 p.m. Free.)
