Hometown Heroes: Family & Youth Initiative

We were so happy to have Susan Punnett visit WGTS 91.9. Susan is the Founder and Executive Director of Family & Youth Initiative. Family & Youth Initiative connects teens in foster care with adults who become their support systems, ensuring teens have adults to rely on for advice, guidance, affection and a sense or belonging.
One of the many things they do is throw birthday parties for older foster kids that didn't have the chance to have a special birthday.
