Around 100 of those position will be hired locally at Reagan and Dulles Airports. Air travel is expected to jump a lot as more Americans get vaccinated. (Waldorf, MD) -- Southern Maryland will soon have a COVID vaccination site ran by federal officials. FEMA has announced their plans to support the new site. It will operate at Regency Furniture Stadium in Charles County as it becomes the state's fourth mass vaccination site. Officials say they plan to open the center in early March. Governor Larry Hogan says the new Johnson-and-Johnson vaccine is expected in Maryland by early next week. This will be the first single-dose vaccine in the U.S.
