Jennifer Marshall is a 39-year old wife and mother of two young children living in Ashburn. Twelve years ago Jennifer suffered her first two manic episodes and later was diagnosed as having Bipolar Disorder – type 1. This inspired Jennifer to start the non-profit This Is My Brave, Inc. Listen to how she has leveraged this to help others suffering from this disorder.

You know something's a pretty big deal when you hear from the mayor. And this morning, Madam Mayor Jeannine Elizabeth from La Plata, MD joined us to invite the community to be a part of the WGTS 91.9 Ice Cream Tour this Friday from 3pm-7pm.
She grew up in a homeless shelter with her brothers and mom in Southeast, DC. But she didn't let that get in the way of graduating from Georgetown University a few weeks ago!
