Colton Dixon
Just two years ago, Colton Dixon couldn't have imagined where God would lead him. After following his sister, Schyler, to an audition of American Idol® on the show's eleventh season, the judge's implored him to audition as well. Both he and his sister received the golden tickets to the next round. Schyler's run would end there as Colton moved on to the live performances, which broke his heart. But he would dedicate his performances to his sister, and wound up being the top male vote-getter, managing to make it into the top 10 and a favorite to win.

Williams’ life provides a unique perspective for her songwriting on her first album. She grew up in extreme poverty with her mom and stepfather and suffered abuse in her early years. Her mother gave her away at age 11 and Williams went to live with her grandfather in Michigan.
