Mrs. Langford came up with a 'cute yet inspiring' idea to encourage her fifth-grade students before a big exam. As students arrived to school May 2nd, they found writing on their desks with inspirational quotes.

Colton Dixon

Just two years ago, Colton Dixon couldn't have imagined where God would lead him. After following his sister, Schyler, to an audition of American Idol® on the show's eleventh season, the judge's implored him to audition as well. Both he and his sister received the golden tickets to the next round. Schyler's run would end there as Colton moved on to the live performances, which broke his heart. But he would dedicate his performances to his sister, and wound up being the top male vote-getter, managing to make it into the top 10 and a favorite to win.
