As mentioned on Johnny and Stacey Stone in the Afternoon, Tris Pharma is recalling some infant ibuprofen sold at Walmart, CVS Pharmacy and Family Dollar stores nationwide because it may contain overly high concentrations of the drug. It is packaged under the labels of Equate infant ibuprofen, CVS Health infant ibuprofen and Family Wellness infant ibuprofen.

Here are the codes:

Walmart NDC 49035-125-23 lot numbers 00717009A, 00717015A and 0071702A

CVS NDC 59779-925-23 lot number 00717024A

Family Dollar NDC 55319-250-23 lot number 00717024A

There is a "remote possibility" a higher level of ibuprofen could lead to permanent kidney damage in babies. Other possible effects include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain and diarrhea, as well as tinnitus, headache and stomach bleeding.
