going deeper

It often seems like Americans are obsessed with getting their 15 minutes of fame.  Many times that fame is used frivolously and doesn't amount to much.  Candace Payne became popular for a video of herself laughing while wearing a Chewbacca mask.  It was sweet and it caught America's attention.  She lives right outside of Dallas and the shootings of the officers and Alton Sterling and Philando Castile were heavy on heart.  She said we was just too sad to say anything for awhile.  Then she decided to sing a song about healing.  Appropriately it's a cover of Michael Jackson's "Heal the World."  We thought you might enjoy it as well as her message to go along with it.  Way to go Candace, using your platform for something that matters!
