The United Way of Maryland is providing help to our neighbors in Ellicott City.  The easiest way you can help is by donating money to the relief effort.  All of the money donated to the United Way will go to help those hurt by the flooding.  You can text ECStrong to 51555 and choose how much you'd like to donate.

If you or someone you know in Ellicott City needs assistance right now, you can go to the Howard County Disaster Assistance Center which is opening today (Tuesday, August 2nd) at the 50 Plus Senior Center located on 9401 Frederick Road in Ellicott City.

The Community Action Council of Howard County's food bank is collecting food for those who need it after the flood.  They are located at 8920 Route 108, Suite A, Columbia, MD.  There's a link here to their site as well as other food pantries that they are working with.
