Remembering Christina Grimmie

When Christina Grimmie took the stage for the first time on NBC's The Voice in 2014, all four judges wanted her. She wowed them with her incredible range and versatility. But perhaps, what was even more amazing, was that despite only being 19, she was mature enough to know she needed to remain true to herself, and God.

"I've absolutely fought against having to be half-naked to sell a track," the Daily Record quotes her as saying. "People tell you what you have to wear and do, and I've never been a fan of it."

She had amassed over 3 million subscribers to her YouTube channel, and it seemed she was going places. However, her life was cut short at just 22 years of age after a gunman took her life following a concert in Orlando last night while she was signing autographs.

So we remember her, and lift her family and friends up in prayer, and honor her life with her favorite song, "In Christ Alone."
