going deeper

Last week, just as the heatwave decided to sit over us for several days, we were grateful to find a way to stay cool with a sweet treat! The WGTS Ice Cream Social Tour made its way around the DMV serving up sloppy, sticky faces one cup of ice cream at a time. So we thought we'd share a few of our memories as we look back on what turned out to be the most successful ice cream tour we've had to date. Over 6,000 cups of ice cream were served in 5 cities around the DMV: Gaithersburg, Fairfax, La Plata, Leesburg, and Mt. Airy!

Some of our favorite memories were getting to play The Family Match Game, where family members competed to see if they could answer the same questions like "Who is the better cook--mom or dad?" (Think Newlywed Game) to win prizes. And then hearing your stories of how God has used this station and the songs to impact your life.

Thank you to all who were able to make it out--we hope you had as much fun as we did.
