We are always amazed and humbled by the generosity of the WGTS 91.9 family. We ask you to get involved and serve here in our local D.C. community and around the world, and you always step up. Last week we brought the need to you of children who are growing up with next to nothing. We set a goal of getting 1,000 children sponsored with Compassion International. The $38-dollar a month commitment provides food, education, medical care and spiritual care for these children. As I write this a total of 959 children have been released from poverty.  Right now they're getting some of the best news they've ever gotten in their lives, literally! That's all been made possibility because of your generosity, and for that we want to say a huge THANK YOU.

Maybe you heard the stories and they touched their heart. You wanted to sponsor, but you just never got around to it. Well, it's not too late.  We're just a few children away from reaching the goal of having the WGTS Family sponsor 1,000 children.
